Welcome to Assignment Expedition, operated by Fordyce Consulting Group, a California Corporation ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our application, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Assignment Expedition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Fordyce Consulting Group.

2 Description of Service

Assignment Expedition is a family task management application that:

✓ Allows parents/guardians to create and assign tasks to children
✓ Gamifies task completion with points, achievements, and rewards
✓ Provides AI-powered task recommendations through Park Ranger
✓ Tracks progress and generates family reports
✓ Enables reward marketplace and points redemption

3 Age Requirements and Account Types

Minimum Age for Account Creation

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account with login credentials.

Parent/Guardian Accounts

•Must be 18 years or older
•Responsible for all activity under the account
•Responsible for children's profiles created within the account
•Must provide accurate account information

Child Profiles (Under 13)

•Created by parent/guardian within parent's account
•No separate login credentials
•Parent controls all access and data
•Parent consents to data collection by creating the profile

Teen Accounts (13-17)

•May create own accounts with parental permission
•Parent remains responsible for minor's use of service
•Full account features available

Verification

• We rely on users to provide truthful age information
• If we discover an account was created by someone under 13, we will immediately terminate the account and delete all data
• Parents found to have falsified information may have their accounts terminated

4 Account Registration and Security

Creating an Account

Email and Password

• Provide valid email address
• Create secure password
• Maintain account security

Google Sign-In (Optional)

• Sign in using Google account
• Subject to Google's Terms of Service
• Can unlink anytime (must set password first)

Account Security

You are responsible for:

•Maintaining confidentiality of your password
•All activity under your account
•Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
•Using a secure password and not sharing it

We are not liable for losses from unauthorized account access if you failed to maintain security.

5 Subscription Plans and Payments

Trail Blazer (Paid)

✓Unlimited child profiles
✓Unlimited tasks
✓Park Ranger AI features
✓Advanced analytics & reports
✓Priority support

Billing

• Monthly or annual billing as selected
• Automatic renewal on anniversary date
• Charged via Stripe payment processing
• Prices subject to change with 30 days notice

Cancellation

• Cancel anytime through account settings
• No cancellation fees
• Access continues until end of billing period
• No refunds for unused time

Refund Policy

No refunds for standard cancellations. Refunds available only for:

• Billing errors (double charges, wrong amount)
• Technical issues preventing service use
• Unauthorized charges

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days to support@assignmentexpedition.com

6 Acceptable Use Policy

You Agree NOT To:

Illegal Activities

• Use service for any unlawful purpose
• Violate any laws
• Infringe on intellectual property rights

Account Misuse

• Create false or misleading accounts
• Impersonate others
• Create accounts if under 13 years old

System Abuse

• Attempt to access other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use bots or scrapers without permission

Content Violations

• Upload illegal or offensive content
• Harass or threaten other users
• Use service for spam

Consequences of Violations

Violations may result in:

→Warning and required corrective action
→Temporary suspension of account
→Permanent termination of account
→Legal action if necessary
→Reporting to law enforcement for illegal activities

7 Content Ownership and Licenses

Your Content

What You Own:

• All content you create (tasks, notes, rewards, etc.)
• You are responsible for content you create

License You Grant Us:

• Limited license to provide the service
• Right to store, display, and process content
• License ends when you delete content/account

Our Content

What We Own:

• Application, design, and features
• Park Ranger AI and algorithms
• All trademarks, logos, and branding

What You Can't Do:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content
• Remove copyright notices
• Create derivative works

8 Park Ranger AI Features

Nature of Recommendations

• Park Ranger provides suggestions only
• Parents/guardians make final decisions about tasks
• Recommendations based on information you provide
• May not be appropriate for all children

No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that:

• Recommendations are suitable for your specific child
• AI-generated content is error-free
• Park Ranger will always be available
• Results will meet your expectations

Your Responsibility

Parents/guardians are responsible for:

• Reviewing all AI-generated suggestions
• Determining age-appropriateness
• Supervising children's use of features
• Not relying solely on AI for parenting decisions

Data Used by Park Ranger

As described in our Privacy Policy, Park Ranger uses: child's display name, task information, reward details, and age range (if provided). Avoid including sensitive personal information in these fields.

9 Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Assignment Expedition is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10 Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Provided "AS IS"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING: MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

No Medical or Professional Advice

Assignment Expedition is not a substitute for: professional parenting advice, medical or psychological services, educational services, or therapy/counseling. Consult qualified professionals for specific concerns about your child's development.

Limitation of Liability

We Are Not Liable For:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost profits or lost data
• Service interruptions or errors
• Third-party content or services

Maximum Liability:

• Limited to amount paid in last 12 months
• If free tier user, maximum liability is $100
• Some jurisdictions don't allow limitations

11 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fordyce Consulting Group, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from:

•Your violation of these Terms
•Your violation of any law or third-party rights
•Your content or use of the service
•Unauthorized access from your account due to your failure to maintain security

12 Modifications to Service and Terms

Service Changes

We may:

• Add, modify, or remove features
• Change how the service works
• Suspend or discontinue the service
• Modify pricing with 30 days notice

Terms Changes

Changes communicated via:

• In-app notification
• Email to registered address
• Updated "Last Updated" date

Continued use = acceptance of changes

13 Termination

Termination by You

• Cancel subscription anytime
• Delete account through settings
• Or email support@assignmentexpedition.com
• Data deletion per Privacy Policy

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of service or other users
• Extended payment failure
• Extended inactivity (12+ months)

14 Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, contact us at support@assignmentexpedition.com to resolve disputes informally. We'll attempt to resolve within 60 days.

Jurisdiction and Venue

Exclusive jurisdiction: Federal and state courts in Sacramento County, California. You consent to personal jurisdiction in these courts.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually. You waive the right to participate in class actions, join multi-party claims, or seek relief on behalf of others.

15 General Terms

Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Fordyce Consulting Group.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our control.

No Agency

These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, or employment relationship.
